Building Bright Futures with CIBC Foundation: A Memorable Visit for Young Entrepreneurs

We’re proud to celebrate our ongoing partnership with the CIBC Foundation, whose generosity and dedication to youth education continues to inspire us at PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs.

Most recently, students from White Rock Elementary had the unique opportunity to visit a local CIBC community branch. This hands-on experience gave our young entrepreneurs a chance to explore real-world financial literacy in action. Through thoughtful conversations with CIBC team members, students gained practical advice on managing money, understanding debt, and planning for future investments like saving for post-secondary education or even buying a home in the future.

The visit also included valuable feedback on their entrepreneurial projects and a guided tour of the branch’s facilities, offering a behind-the-scenes look into the banking world.

We’re incredibly grateful to Puneet (Jesse) Lakhman, Abhishek Jagdish Betai, Anush Lal, and the rest of the CIBC team for making this experience so enriching and memorable. Their support helps empower the next generation of changemakers and community leaders.

Together, we’re helping students dream big—and build the tools to make their goals a reality.
