OUR INCLUSIVE APPROACH

PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs embraces flexibility and inclusivity, supporting learners with diverse competencies and learning styles. Feedback from students, parents, and educators consistently demonstrates a high level of engagement, even among those who typically do not respond well to traditional teaching methods.

PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs fosters a sense of ownership in their learning and accomplishments. This approach not only instills essential life skills, but cultivates a deep sense of self-belief and confidence in their abilities to navigate challenges and achieve success.

The PowerPlay Learning Model was designed to fit seamlessly into the different provincial and territorial curricula plans, acting as a complement to any Math, English, Social Sciences or Design and Technology unit.

Acting on 4 core values, students who participate can expect to take ownership of their learning journey:

CHALLENGE

Exciting real-world challenges spark curiosity, capture imaginations and inspire learners to flex their creative muscles.

OUR LEARNING MODEL

ACTION

Youth take risks, experiment, express themselves and stretch their capacities as they implement their plans.

PLAN

Young people set goals, identify tools they will need and lay out a step-by-step action path to reach their targets.

REFLECTION

Students reflect upon their experiences, celebrate accomplishments and develop success strategies for school and beyond.
